“ A great local. Selection of drinks is huge and the staff are all lovely. Easy to build relationships with them all and they will remember your friendly patronage. A cozy environment that seems like you're in a big cabin and there's a pizza restaurant inside. A beautiful establishment that has become a favorite of mind over the years. Just don't be a dick and you'll be OK here. ”
“ The Greater Good Bar in Toronto offers a relaxed atmosphere with a strong focus on craft beer and New York–style pizza. Located on Geary Avenue, it’s popular for its rotating selection of local brews, featuring 18 taps that frequently change. The food, especially the pizza, is a highlight, with favorites like pepperoni and margherita with sesame seeds. It's also a great spot for casual entertainment, with vintage arcade games like pinball and skee ball, adding to its charm as a neighborhood hangout. The bar has an energetic vibe, which can make it quite lively and loud, particularly on busy nights. If you're looking for a quieter experience, sitting downstairs or on the outdoor patio is recommended. Reviews often praise the pizza and beer, but some mention that the arcade upstairs doesn't quite live up to expectations. Still, it remains a go-to for craft beer enthusiasts and those seeking a laid-back, fun night out. ”
“ Great bar to bring the little ones during the early family hours. I highly reccomend the Killer Bee pizza. The spiciness is 90% flavour & 10% heat. If you like sours, the Radenbach Grand on tap at the time. Nice balance that was not so sour that it made me suck my gums like some other sours. The arcade machines are free, pinball is paid. The pool table was closed until later when the kids were gone (I totally understand that, my nephews and other kids were touching & rubbing their hands on the felt) ”
“ I left a review for the pizza place, but the 2 go together. I had a great time here the other day. Food and drinks were great. Very family friendly before 8pm, and a busy pub after. I'd definitly go back. ”
“ Pretty packed on a Friday night. I liked the crowd here, super chill and a fun time. Tried their cheese pizza and it was delicious! I'd love to come by during the afternoon next time. ”
“ Good beer, GREAT pizza, let's go! We had tap beer, it was really good. We also had pizza, North of Brooklyn, so delicious, really hit the spot. We got Pepperoni, Margherita, NY with mushroom. I definitely recommend Pepperoni and NY with mushroom, they're very very good. Also there are games upstairs, pinball, skiball etc, just make sure you bring loonies and toonies and cash along if you wanna play. ”
“ Such a fun spot with a great vibe! Love that they have lots of games you can play with your friends – it really makes the night extra special. We tried the vodka pizza, and honestly it was amazing! Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re looking for a chill night with good food and good fun. ”
“ Like this place a lot. Great vibes and the staff are friendly. They have free games, North of Brooklyn pizza and a great lineup of craft beers. Perfect place to bring the family or even a date. Only complaint is that they don't open until 5pm ”
